heymikewaskom asked:

So hi, you're following me. Can I ask how you found me? Can I ask, do you really live on two coasts? Can I ask you why you look so tough holding a saw?

Totes. You can ask whatever you like.

No no, for real though…

1. Yes. Yes, I am.

2. I’ve been a follower of Since She Left for a really long time. Except I’ve been, like, a Lazy Dashboard Follower. But then last night I was feeling particularly mopey (I know, I know. But that’s basically your target audience, right?) so I went to the site itself and took a real look. Which is how I found you. (Hooray!)

3. I do (sort of) live on two coasts. Currently, at least. I grew up in a No-Place, but I’ve been moving from one coast to the other (and back again) (repeat) ever since I went westward for undergrad (a long, long time ago). I’ve spent the last (oh dear. too many) years moving from California to New York (and back again) (repeat). (fuckyeahbifurcatedsoul)

5. I think this one is pretty subjective :)

6. This isn’t a response to your message. This is a response to this. Your post about being almost 30 and owning cheap flannel snowmen sheets?

You’ve recently moved to New York, right? Because I’m pretty sure there’s an “Almost 30 with Cheap Flannel Snowmen Sheets” Meet-Up group.

(I think the majority of the members live in Brooklyn, though.) (But I’m almost certain they all get laid.) (A LOT.) (So put your fears to rest!) (Tuck ‘em in under snowmen sheets!)

Oh. From your photo, it looks like your bed is actually RAISED UP OFF OF THE FLOOR.

So… so that might mean you’re ineligible. (You’ll have to check the bylaws… )
